# SQLite

Query a local SQLite database file. No network involved, so the blast radius is exactly the file you point it at.

- **Publisher of the server:** Model Context Protocol
- **Upstream:** https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/servers
- **Documentation:** https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/servers/tree/main/src/sqlite
- **Transport:** stdio (local process)
- **Command:** `uvx mcp-server-sqlite --db-path ./data.db`

## Credentials and configuration

- Path to the SQLite database file

These are **placeholders describing what to supply**; the registry stores no credentials. Enter real values in your own AO instance when you create the connection.

## Tools (3)

- `read_query` — Run a read-only SQL query.
- `list_tables` — List the database's tables and their row counts.
- `describe_table` — Show a table's columns and types.

## Risk

Declared risk: **medium**. None of the listed tools is named as a dedicated write operation (judged from tool names only; a general-purpose tool such as a SQL or fetch call can still have effects — see the declared risk).

> This entry is a catalogue description. Installing it creates no connection and grants no agent access;
> your instance's own connection settings and approvals decide what an agent can reach.
